How did you end up in your line of business?
I joined Riverside Partners after graduating from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University business school. The business development role within private equity appealed to me given the need to have both deep qualitative and quantitative skill sets when it comes to building valuable relationships and vetting potential deals.
How did you first get involved with ACG Boston?
I first became involved in ACG Boston immediately after joining Riverside Partners. ACG has been a tremendous help when it comes to building my network!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
You don’t have to be the best, just try to be better than you were yesterday.
What is something people don’t know about you?
I prefer my hamburgers on English muffins vs. traditional rolls.
What is your most satisfying professional accomplishment?
Hopefully it is yet to come!
What is the best vacation you’ve ever had?
During my junior year of undergrad at St. Lawrence University I was able to participate in a program that partnered with the Kenyan Wildlife Service, the management organization for Kenya’s national park system. As part of our efforts we spent a couple weeks on a quasi-safari through a handful of the parks.
